System Change Leadership

In any community we create systems to be more efficient. In time, the original systems and the current community need change so much that we need to update our systems. At Project ABC, we know that the needs of children from birth through age 5 and their families have changed in recent years. We have learned a great deal about what our babies need for optimal development. Now it is time to adapt and change systems to reflect and follow through with the current needs of our children.

The Systems Change Leadership committee is a group representing different entities. We come together to learn what works and what does not work for families served by more than one system. For example, a family may work with child welfare professionals while they receive mental health services and the children attend preschool. Learning from the families and the community, our goal is to make lasting changes that will improve the interactions between providers to offer a quality network of support for children and families.
